The Lee-Enfield markI model 1903 was a magazine-fed bolt-action repeat-firing rifle used by the British army in the Great War. First developed in 1875, this rifle supplanted the Lee-Metford design in 1888. This magnificent British rifle boasted a ten-round capacity spring-fed munitions magazine that enjoyed similar efficiency matched to that of the France's Lebel rifle. Unlike the Lebel, the Lee-Enfield enjoyed smooth firing capability, and less bullet jams than other contemporary rifles used on the battlefields of the Great War.
