what was the Mosin-Nagant?

The Mosin-Nagant, referred to as the Винтовка Мосина (Vintovka' Mosina), was a bolt-action rifle with internal-feed repeating rifle. This weapon was developed by the Russian Empire, and implemented by the Tsar in his armies from 1891 to the last soviet Premier in 1991. This specific rifle saw action in a range of conflicts from the Russo-Japanese war, WWII, the Korean War, and even contemporary Afghanistan and Syrian Civil war.

The 1891 Mosin-Nagant boasted its many effective features such as:

- two front locking lugs
